As a naturopathic physician, one of my goals is to help patients find and recognize his/her own values toward his/her individualized healthcare goals.

As a primary care physician, I would like to help patients resolve symptoms long-term, instead of suppressing symptoms temporarily. Patients deserve a primary care doctor who understands the interconnection between mental health, emotional health and physical health.

My philosophies are four-fold:

1) Change is inevitable

2) Wounding and healing are not opposites

3) Grief, sadness, anxiety and other emotions are part of the normal process of healing and being a human

4) Each person has different values in life and thus, no one, not even a doctor should force his/her values on patients.
